Last fourth dimension I was getting my haircut and colored at Splurge I asked about their Jane Iredale makeup display.   Coincidentally, I had started using the mineral loose pulverization foundation about a year ago and was driving a distance to replenish my supply.   It hadn't occurred to me that Splurge carried it (I am quick like that).   What I beloved near the foundation is that it doesn't feel like I am wearing brand upward when I use it and the SPF is a big bonus.

Since I have never used the other Jane Iredale products, they suggested I cheque out the fun over at the Jane Iredale Mineral Makeover Room.   This seemed like the perfect way for me to "try out" products.

The starting time step is to cull a body double.

I chose someone that looked just like me. OK, maybe I chose a supermodel that had similar coloring to me.

Side by side I tried out some different shades of foundations.   I ultimately chose the one that I usually utilise, simply it was interesting to meet some of the darker shades which gave more of a sun-kissed look to "my" face.

And so I played with color combinations of blush, eye shadow, eye liner and lips.   It was nice to exist able to see how much colour was involved in the dissimilar shades of chroma.   The area I spent the about time experimenting with was the lip colour.   I hate how you can't really endeavour out lipstick in stores to get a feel for the true colour and some of my favorite shades in the past look really dark in the tube, simply nice on me which is always disruptive.

When I was all washed I looked at the before/after pictures and the website compiled a shopping list of all the products I chose.   I really think that this would be helpful in narrowing down my choices.   I am usually pretty overwhelmed whatever time the word "makeup" is mentioned allow lonely when I am responsible to brand purchase decisions.

Splurge Salon in the Shops of Highland Village came upwards at the elevation of the list for my close locations which is probably a skilful thing since I am long overdue for a cut and color…over again.
